At right are three photos I am especially proud of - the bottom two are our first Keener Year in 2003. The top photo is in Thun, Switzerland. Our Keeners are literally on top of the world - Joel and Nick at World’s and Rafa just back from an arduous first descent in the Himalayas. That’s the effect Keeners has on these young paddlers.
I am privileged and thankful to be born in the US and now live in Canada as a citizen of both these great nations. In 35 years of business, I have never written a letter like this but I have also never seen so much economic carnage and uncertainty in the country of my birth. I see it in the news and I hear it talking to Keener parents. For that reason, I am drastically lowering Keener rates this summer so that the development of our young paddlers is not compromised.
Keeners already booked will have their rates lowered automatically. I have revised the application with lower rates and extended the Early Bird Discount until March 15th.
I hope you will join me in doing what it takes to develop our young paddlers and ensure they do not miss the Keener Experience this summer.
